Totally scammed, initially contacted to deliver from NY to CA for $650. After flying to CA, because the shipping price was so good, I was told the initial driver cancelled and now all they can do is $1580. 2.5 times more than expected. Don’t use this company especially don’t speak with Otto.

Originally the price was $650, signed contracts in NY. When I arrived in CA Otto said the driver had an emergency and the price would now be $1580. If I initially knew the price would be significantly higher I would have driven the car. I feel that since Otto knew when I would arrive in CA that he took advantage of my situation by lowballing the initial price. I absolutely feel I was scammed and will be sending complaints about your company to the governing body that oversees transportation brokers. Your company is not a responsible business.

I wish I could put 0 stars for each. I worked with Andrew and he tried to scam us out of money because he dropped the ball. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

Too much back and forth but Otto got it done. Next time I will call Otto direct and set up a timeline as well as a final price. Too many calls from too many shippers. I’ve had the car for over a week but I’m still getting calls!

I was told $400 and 8/12-8/13 pickup My vehicle was shipped 8/17, and only because I had to agree to $500. I felt like there was no intention to do it for the agreed on price. I was offered $550, $600, $625 and $650. I felt very taken advantage of, and would give all 1’s except the Rep was very nice, and the transporter was very nice and got it there in 2 days.

I’ll start with the positive, my trailer was delivered. Damaged and late but delivered… Broker was having a hard time finding a driver the day it was to be picked up so I had to up my price or it wasn’t being shipped as I was told it would be. Once driver picked it up, no paperwork (BOL) was provided by driver who stated, “it’s all electronic, I just focus on the driving” So after hours of expecting the delivery I decide to call the driver to check in, he says he’s a couple hours out. Four hours later I call again, now he’s half hour out. Hour later, he calls and says he’s lost 1/2 mile away. Finally pulls in and the underbelly is dragging with wires and insulation material everywhere. Couldn’t believe it. So driver continues to say he didn’t do that! So then I ask for insurance and paperwork and he says he can’t provide that to me and I must pay him. I threaten to call the police if he leaves without providing insurance so after him waiting around for an hour and a half, his manager provides the insurance. All to hear from the insurance that the driver and the truck he was driving were NOT covered by their insurance! So I’m stuck with a damaged trailer and that’s it!! Stay away from these frauds

Very poor communication. Was over promised on their ability to get a driver to pickup my vehicle. I communicated with them that since they were unable to find a driver, I would be moving on to another company that could. Charged me three weeks later when they claimed to have a driver then refused to refund the charges. Unethical business practices for not rendering a service and charging me $200

Prior to committing to services, I got several calls each day asking if I'd made a decision. It was honestly relentless and should have been the first red flag. When I finally decided to go with this company, I was initially quoted $650 for my Houston to Los Angeles car shipment. I asked repeatedly if there was a window of time where the car would be picked up and they could never give me one. Only 2 days before my move date did they come back to me and say that there were no drivers for that price and raised the price to $850, still with no window for pickup, even though the move was that week. One day before the move, I get connected with the driver, sign a contract, and relinquish my car. Everything happened very quickly and without any advanced notice. The car did arrive in the same condition it was dropped in, so that is one positive thing. But when the driver was dropping off he INSISTED on cash and would not even consider other mobile or check options. This is in stark contrast to what was told to me by TrueCarriers which was that they only contract drivers that can accept multiple forms of certified payment. This caused a scramble between me and my family to find $500+ in cash on short notice so the driver would give back the car. This experience was very frustrating and my entire experience with TrueCarriers made me upset and uncomfortable. I will not use again

Horrible. Trying to coordinate with the first contact person, the middleman, and then the driver was difficult. Not only was there a language barrier in some cases, but also I was pushed from talking to one person, to another, and then the driver. In the middle, the product and service I signed up for was not exactly what I got and I had to change things on my end with the car pickup and delivery because of the miscommunication. So much work just to get this service completed. The first pickup and delivery ended up not working because a truck was breaking down. This is understandable but the way it was handled left much to be desired. By the time I had to make a decision to not go forward with the dates because nothing was solid and no one knew if the vehicle would break down again, it made the adjusting to a new time very difficult. If everyone was just straight forward from the beginning and I only had to deal with one person, who also gave correct information on their end from the other parties involved, then this would have been a great experience. Very difficult and disappointing.
