I got a text from Stacy, a saleswoman, last December that my car Corolla would start at $600 to move from Arizona to Washington state. My schedule has been confirmed and I signed a contract on January 10 to move my car on February 27 this year. After that, I checked the exact pick-up date and time of my car 10 days before the scheduled departure, but Stacy kept delaying that she could coordinate with the driver and let me know the confirmed schedule a day before or on the day of the pick-up. Then she said she couldn't pick my car up because she didn't have a driver on the morning of the scheduled pick-up... In addition, she gave a ridiculous answer that there was no car moving schedule that week, of course, the week after. And another driver said they'd proceed with the schedule if the customer paid $850, so she asked for a $250 increase on the scheduled pick-up day. She replied that if I wanted the cancellation, the penalty would be $200 so I had no choice but to apply for my car's moving service for the new rate of $850 . There may be a fixed rate increase over the initial rate offered. But can the rate that starts at $600 go up to $850 on the day of pickup after nothing at all? It's a really terrible service !

Of course, they had me sign a contract after they assured me they could get my trailer moved for $1300. After almost two months, it finally got moved for $2900. This after several refusals on my part to accept $3000+ price tags and their refusal to let me out of my contract. I griped a little about the pricing, but was informed (over this two month period), they just couldn't get anyone to move it for the price they had quoted. Seems like their problem, not mine. But, in the end, the seller wanted it moved (understandably) and I would have gotten sued if anyone else would have moved it, so I was between a rock and a hard place and had to accept the next "offer" that came. Long story short, it cost me $1600 more (double + some) than what they "hooked" me with the quote. Never will do business with them again.

We were quoted at $1150 and on the day of pickup it was changed to $1650 and we had no choice to pay it or not get it moved. That’s what they do!

Long story short, my RV was delivered safely from 300 miles away. That being said, the process was very stressful and ended up being $300 more than I was originally quoted. There were multiple representatives working with my request and it was overwhelming hearing from 3 different people about changes in the price. There were also random independent drivers contacting me from the job board (where my contact information was on display) hoping to just take the job from me directly instead of working with a broker like movewheels. I hated that and wish I would’ve been told that was a possibility and that my contact information was on display. Drivers were telling me no one would take the job quoted as low as it was. By the time a driver accepted the job, the price went from $500 to $750. I had to reach out to the driver directly and he ended up arriving to me after midnight which was very uncomfortable. While transporting, the driver was texting me saying the job was too cheap and he wouldn’t have taken it if he wasn’t already on the way. I was put in a very uncomfortable situation. I will not recommend this company to anyone because it felt unorganized, stressful, and a little sketchy. I am glad my camper is here, but I should’ve pursued a different option.

Movewheels did a great job navigating issues with the actual transport carrier (the issue was more with the transport carrier not Movewheels). Robin kept me informed, even on weekends, and worked out issues that were not anticipated.

The price was not the price I was told when I signed the contract. It went up by over $500 when it came time to transport. I had to call them to see what was going on with transport. Once we had a driver and transport things did go smoothly. Great communication between the transporter and me through the whole move. Great in the transportation side. Horrible on the communication and price side. Once you give a price and sign contracts that should be the price. If I can’t back out either can you. Not my issue your customer service didn’t book the truck when I ordered and signed and paid six weeks ahead of time.

I do not recommend this company at all. In hindsight, I should have read the company's reviews well beforehand. I purchased a 2010 Jeep Wrangler that I was going to surprise my son with for his birthday. The deal fell thru after I signed the agreement with this company. Of course, when I called move wheels to cancel - I was thrown the contract in my face- and was told they would seek legal action to recover fees. Keep in mind, I canceled well in advance. Fast forward, I managed to get the jeep - and called move wheels to advise. They called me and wanted to charge almost triple my contracted price. Of course, I declined. I sought alternate accommodations, and only when I told them - they came back to me with a carrier that would move the jeep - for $200 more than they contracted. I was stuck at this point, so I said yes. The carrier arrived to pick up the jeep - and then left. I called him and texted him. No answer. A day went by, and then move wheels called to tell me that the jeep would not fit on his carrier. Amateurs. They then advised they had another carrier - but they could not pick up until the following Monday. So, a week after the company advised they could move the jeep - it finally got picked up. I was handed off to a "dispatch" company that was super rude. I got a call Wednesday that the jeep was arriving thu. That did not happen. I then was told that the jeep would arrive Friday "evening". I asked for a time window and never got one. Finally I got contacted Friday evening and was told that since I am a residence delivery - my order is less important than dealers and auctions. My delivery was pushed to Saturday delivery. Here I sit - it is Saturday. I have texted and called the "dispatch" AND driver. No answer. What a nightmare. RUN from this company. The Jeep arrived Saturday afternoon FULL of oil all over the vehicle. It was so bad i almost could not see out of the front windshield. I had to immediately go to a carwash to even see out of the vehicle. This company is trash. Unacceptable.
